With their latest EP, La Battue head back to basics, and rewrite the past.

"During our big spring clean, we found two songs that we had written at the very beginning of the project, and although our style has evolved over the years, we found it a shame not to share them, we had to dust them and get them out of the attic. There is DIY aspect that we like, that comes through in the artwork and the clip as well. On Endlessly, there is a big « Yellow Ostrich » influence, with the repetitive harmonic cycles, and the smooth musical surge. Pay The Rent, a small cynical pop song, plays with words and voice loops for a playful and dancing result.
To accompany these two tracks, and to satisfy our desire for collaboration and sharing, we invited Elliott Armen to feature on Attacus Atlas, a song first released in 2019. Acoustic guitar, omnichord, violins and voices : a very organic and refined version has come out of this featuring, recorded in a church to make the most of the natural reverb."
